Several years ago, I relocated to the Chicago suburbs, searching for new opportunities. Like most people moving to a new area, I needed to find a home. I searched all the usual online sites (the same ones you spend hours searching through in hopes of finding that perfect home), and, like you, I called and emailed the agents trying to view the properties. Unfortunately, I found that most agents were not interested in showing homes to me when I was available. It was silly for me to think that, I would be able to view homes outside of my work hours. How else could I pay for a home without a job, right? It took 7 months before I finally found a home! I felt as though I missed out on several great opportunities because I couldn’t find an agent interested in selling a home to me. By now, you are probably nodding your head in agreement, because you have had similar experiences. I am different from the other agents in many ways. I listen. I am available. I am attentive. After obtaining my broker's license in 1993, I was affiliated with Smothers Realty Group and Baird & Warner in LaGrange. In 2005 I formed Landmark Realty Group ... a real estate brokerage firm specializing in the sale of residential properties in historic Riverside and the surrounding areas. I initiated and closed the purchase of the Arcade Building, written to be the first shopping mall in the country. This transaction commanded the highest price paid for a property in the immediate area. In 1998 I formed Victory Lanes, Inc., saving a vintage six-lane bowling alley. I not only handled the renovation of the building but managed and ran this successful business for several years while continuing to sell real estate.
